Palbee is rewarding its users who display extraordinary, creative, and interesting content here on Palbee.com. Starting today, we are awarding prizes at the end of each month to the top three users who have submitted the best overall presentations that have been recorded using Palbee. Also, we will be offering a special quarterly prize, which is another opportunity to win!

Each month first, second, and third place winners will receive the latest in electronic gadgets from the hotbed of new technology, South Korea. The first place winner will receive a Samsung Yepp T10 mp3 player. The second place winner will receive an iRiver Mickey. The third place winner will receive a Palbee Tote bag. Details on the prizes are listed below.

Event Period July 1 to July 31

Entries will be accepted from July 1 to July 31, and a winner will be chosen on August 1. But remember, a new month means a new contest and a new chance to win!



How to Enter

1. Create an account on Palbee.com, and record a presentation on a topic with which you are familiar.

2. When you are happy with the quality of the recording, email the URL of the recorded presentation to contest@palbee.com. Make sure that the email address you use to mail the URL is the same email address you used to sign up for the Palbee account.

3. Check the Palbee Blog regularly to see honorable mentions posted throughout the month, maybe including yours.

4. At the end of each month a winner will be announced on the Palbee Blog, and contacted again for confirmation of the details.



How to Win

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Professionalism - Your presentations must be clear, concise, and understandable. The langauge must be in English. It should be something you would be happy to show a client, classroom, or boss.

2. PowerPointedness - Good use of graphics, slides, and format to illustrate your points. Graphs, charts, photos, and artfully laid out text will win you points here.

3. Interest - The topic itself should be intriguing and should be presented in a manner that draws the viewer into the presentation.

4. Hot Topicality - Current events, Internet phenomena, and controversial topics create a storm of activity around them. The relative attention that each presentation receives by the Internet at large will be measured using server logs, and wins you points. Don't shy away from controversy!

5. Miscellaneous Appeal - When you inject humor, song, gimmicks, or other appealing aspects to the presentation, you can score more highly in this category.
